Nigeria’s Ministry of Health will be implementing a new Nati Oral Health Policy in 2020. This policy will address the burden of oral diseases in the country.

Dr Bola Alonge, Head of Dentistry Division in the ministry made this known an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja. Dr Alonge revealed that the policy was drafted no 2012 and was reviewed on December 17th, 2019.

The policy is expected to commence in June 2020.
