Sudan has resumed the exportation of groundnut to other countries. This was announced by the permanent secretary of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Mohamed Ali Abd Allah.
Mr Abd Allah said this was made possible after a collaborative effort with the federal ministry of agriculture. He said the groundnut will be exported in line with agricultural land classification conditions and in the standard of the international market.
He affirmed an agreement was made for exporting groundnut with purity so as to gain an international reputation for other Sudanese exported commodities as well.
He explained that groundnut is highly demanded internationally during the first quarter of the year.
He also called upon exporters to go to the ministry of industry and complete the necessary procedures.
